
Who can say no to a free Game Night with DWE families? Tonight from 6-7:30pm in our MPR/Playground the PTA is hosting a game night with family favorites such as bingo, board games, plinko, etc! The Book Fair will also be open!


Feeling hungry after today's 1/2 day? Our STUCO (Student Council) has just the thing- a percentage night at Arby's! From 4:00-7:00pm a percentage of the proceeds will benefit DWE students!


Today, 8/10, is a 1/2 day. Students will be dismissed at noon. Please contact the front office if you need to make any after school dismissal transportation changes: 520-879-2302. Thank you!

Our lockdown drill has concluded. Thank you students, staff, and families for your cooperation in this important drill.

We are currently practicing a scheduled lockdown drill. Our front office will remain closed during the drill and we will not be answering phones. We will do a follow-up post when our drill has concluded.

Hello Families,
This is an update, our power was restored at 10:45am. Our phones are in the process of resetting. Once again, your students are safe in the classrooms and eating lunch. Our DWE Fifth graders have the amazing opportunity to participate in a 1-1 chromebook learning environment! Your family can learn all about the 5th grade 1-1 program at DWE by visiting our Open House on 7/14 from 6:00pm-6:30pm.

DWE has an amazing partnership with our transportation department! The Vail Transportation team stopped by DWE today to thank our amazing bus monitors and bus bay staff for keeping kids safe on the bus all year long! Way to go, DWE bus monitors and Vail Transportation department!

Yearbooks go on sale tomorrow, Friday May 13! They will be available first-come, first-served until they run out before and after school. Yearbooks are $30 cash or check paid out to Desert Willow.
