Hey CATS, check this out! This past weekend five of our students participated in the Arizona Music Educators Association (AMEA) All-State Honor Festival held at Northern Arizona University. This festival featured the very best high school choir, band, and orchestra musicians in the state of Arizona. The Bobcat Musicians who participated are as follows: Grace Henderson, Korin Messina, Brennan Miller, Kyle Jones, and Zachary Thomas. Please join us in celebrating this incredible honor!

Hey, CATS! Check this out! The following students held discussions with our Pima County Supervisors, State Legislators, various Superintendents and Governing Board Members of Southern AZ. Our state's leadership was energized, encouraged and excited to "get to work" after hearing from our students! Our particular students listed were BOLD, articulate and so very well poised. Be sure to share how proud you are of them if you see them around! They represented Bobcat Nation well! Hey Bobcat Nation! We wanted to share with all of you that our very own Sarah McNall, has been awarded the South Central Teacher of the Year Award! The South Central Region includes all of Tucson, Rio Rico, Casa Grande, Coolidge, and Florence agriculture teachers. Because of this, she is now nominated for the Arizona Ag Teacher's of Association, Teacher of the Year Award! We will gladly keep all of you updated on the process! We are so proud of you, Sarah!

Hey Bobcay Nation! Our NJROTC Cadets assisted the American Legion in Corona De Tucson this past Saturday with their Produce On Wheels Without Waste (P.O.W.W.O.W.) community service event. This is a monthly community service event our cadets support from November to May. Out cadets assist the American Legion with sorting vegetables rescued from grocery stores for distribution to the community. They also assist with loading and cleanup. Way to go, NJROTC!

Congrats to Chloe Dunn & Connor Dunaway! Last Friday, their efforts produced a 2nd place finish out of 22 teams competing in the Skill USA Regional Construction Competition. Super Job, Bobcats!

Our construction students are competing today in a regional construction competition held at Catalina H.S. This is our first competition in over three years. It is organized and sponsored by private industry as an opportunity for students to display their construction skills to prospective employers. Good luck to our students and thank you, Mr. Keck!
