Nadine Finnefrock – Speech and Language Pathologist

I am super excited for this upcoming school year here at Sycamore. I have been enjoying getting to know and working with our fabulous students and their families, as well as an amazing team of educators.

My wonderful husband Bill and I have been married for fourteen years. We have two awesome daughters and just recently added a third dog to join our pack. We might adopt a lionhead bunny or two in the near future, but SHHH!, my husband doesn’t know yet.

In 2005, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in speech therapy. After a turbulent 3 years of balancing life with a baby, dogs, work as a speech language technician and on and off campus course work, I graduated with my Master’s degree in Clinical Speech Language Pathology from NAU’s summer’s only program in 2011

This will be my thirteenth year working in the field as a speech therapist. My goals as a speech language pathologist are not only focusing on identifying the needs of our students and how their speech and language difficulties may affect their academic learning and social interactions, but also on teaching appropriate strategies and techniques to parents and staff as they take on the role of the “speech therapist” outside the speech room.

I am looking forward to another fantastic school year.
