Michele Pangle – Student Achievement Teacher

It’s hard to believe that this will be my 24th year in education! I have taught in El Paso, Texas, Leupp, Arizona, and Knoxville, Tennessee. I am lucky to have been at Sycamore since it opened in 2003. I have taught 4th grade and was also one of the Reading Specialists for Sycamore’s Title One program.

My daughter, Haley, spent all her elementary years at Sycamore and now she is a freshman at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott!  She is majoring in Global Security and Intelligence and is playing on their soccer team. I miss having her at home but I am excited for her new adventure in college. In my free time I enjoy reading, swimming, eating out, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.

As a Student Achievement Teacher I want to be a support to students, families and the staff at Sycamore. My position allows me to guide the instructional practices that we value as a school. I help teachers make the best decisions in their instruction to make sure they are meeting the needs of all of their students. I am able to reach more children than I would in working in a regular classroom of my own. This has been very fulfilling, and I am so happy to be a part of the Sycamore family.
