My passion is working with children. I have fun with the students, while teaching them strategies to help them succeed in the general classroom. I have worked as an Occupational Therapist for 35 years, 20 years in the clinical setting and 15 years in the school setting. I believe in learning while having fun at the same time, whether it is strengthening the body, improving fine motor, visual motor skills, and/or sensory regulation. If warranted, sensory regulation techniques are taught to students and staff working with those students, to help a child better tolerate the sounds, sights, smell and touch of their surroundings.
