Kristine Impellizzeri

I’m originally from Tempe, AZ where I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from Arizona State University. My husband and I moved to California where I then completed the Teacher Credentialing Program. It is in California where I began my teaching career primarily in the 1st and 2nd grades. This is my 24th year in education and almost my 14th in Vail. Vail has afforded me the opportunity to work with students in the classroom but also serve in the role as Student Achievement Teacher working with all students and teachers K-6. I also completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona State University. I strive to continue to better myself as an educator, but also a leader so that my students are provided amazing learning opportunities.

My husband and I moved to Tucson 15 years ago. We are a retired military family who have raised both our children in the Vail School system. Savanah and Chandler are both graduates of Empire High School! I’m super excited to be starting my 3rd year in 5th grade at Sycamore.

Outside the classroom, you will find me outdoors planting and enjoying my yard, listening to music and just spending time with my family. I love finding quotes that inspire our students.

Courage. Kindness. Friendship. Character. These are the qualities that define us as human beings, and propel, on occasion, to greatness.
