After spending 20 years in various roles in education from classroom teacher to curriculum writer, I am so excited to be returning for my third year in Kindergarten here at Sycamore! Growing up in Missouri, I knew early on I wanted to be a teacher. After a detour to upstate New York for a few years, I moved to Vail in 2005 when my husband was transferred to the area with his job. We have one daughter who will be a 5th grader here at Sycamore.

Outside of the classroom, I run a small photography business, read anything I can get my hands on, and enjoy spending time with my family and our various pets. We also enjoy exploring the Tucson area, going to the movies, and are avid baseball fans. Go Cardinals!

I am looking forward to helping your Kindergarten students succeed and love school here at Sycamore! It is my hope to create a nurturing, encouraging environment where your child can blossom and grow into confident, caring, and respectful learners. I believe the greatest growth can occur when the parents and teachers can work together to help their students learn. I look forward to learning more about you and your child and working with them this year at Sycamore!
