Christina Hunter – Inclusion Specialist

This is now my sixth school year working at Sycamore and I love and appreciate the people I work and collaborate with and the students we help everyday.

I am a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011 with my  Bachelors of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I have five-year-old twin daughters that start kindergarten this year and I couldn’t be more proud and excited for their new adventure. I am currently pursuing a teaching certificate while obtaining on the job experience every day as an Inclusion Specialist. I couldn’t do any of it without the help and support of my husband
Josh, who works very hard as a registered nurse. To say we are a busy family is an
understatement. This will be my third year working in inclusion and I cannot say enough good things about our team and the collaborative progress we have made as a whole.

It is my belief that every child deserves every opportunity to learn, but also to learn in a safe and welcoming environment; where their needs are met and they can explore the depths of their minds. I experience this everyday in the Vail School District and here at Sycamore. This vision and goal is one that I share for myself, and the services I can provide to any and all of our students. It gives me such pride to work for such an outstanding establishment.
